Paramount Chiefs of Fako
Paramount Chief of Buea
Robert Esuka’ Mbella Lifafa l’Endeley, herein titled HRM Chief Dr. Endeley V, Paramount Chief of Buea and Ruler of the Bakweri people, was born on 20th July 1975 in Buea Town, Buea Sub-Division. He is the last child of Prince Hon. Dr. Emmanuel Mbella Lifafa Endeley (first son of HRM Chief Endeley II) and Mama Fanny Ebenye Endeley née Njoh, both of blessed memory.
HRM Robert Esuka Endeley is a skilled, resourceful, and far-sighted leader who combines exceptional management abilities with a participative leadership approach. His royal status, His Royal Majesty, above all, reflects God’s ultimate authority. To be king is to hold authority over others, for God is the King of kings (Dan. 2:37; Rev. 19:16).
We believe it is God who chooses the king, and His divine authority has been delegated to our ruler, HRM Robert Esuka Endeley. There can be no authority above God’s; otherwise, God would not be God.
Paramount Chief of Limbe

It will be a cultural village aimed at promoting national peace through the respect of cultural diversity, and tolerance.
About Mbando ya Hvako
Festival
The Mbando ya Hvako Festival is the soul of the Bakweri people — a grand celebration of heritage, identity, and ancestral pride. Held annually in the heart of Fako, this sacred festival blends tradition and unity through vibrant dances, melodious chants, symbolic rites, and ancestral storytelling. Elders pass down wisdom through folklore, while youths connect to their roots through cultural reenactments. More than a gathering, Mbando is a spiritual revival — a reminder that the heartbeat of the land echoes in its people, their culture, and their undying connection to home.
