What Makes Fako Extraordinary

1. Nestled at the foot of Mount Fako — an awe-inspiring active volcano rising above 4,000 m — our cultural center thrives in a region where ancient traditions meet modern innovation. Mount Fako, revered by the Bakweri as “Mongo ma Ndemi” (the Mountain of Greatness), is not only a spiritual symbol, but also a living monument of identity and endurance.
